Anna Lundqvist

AHLFA.

AHLFA is a new Swedish collaboration featuring Adam Forkelid, Putte Johander and Jon Fält; the trio known as Lekverk.

The trio Lekverk gave Swedish jazz a new face when the three well-established musicians joined forces and began playing jazz in a new way. They recorded albums in their summer cottage, placing microphones on pots and pans and cymbals, creating sounds by using the room itself and not just conventional instruments. Their breakthrough came with the debut album ‘21st Century Jump’ (2008), followed by ‘Everyday Music’ (2010). Since then, Lekverk has had a profound influence on the Nordic jazz scene.

The first project by AHLFA  is an album production, a journey that began in February 2026 and is expected to be completed mid 2027. It also features guest musicians and producers from jazz and other genres, both international and from Sweden.

Jazz traditions form an important foundation for the music, but the productions guiding principle is “more is more” aiming to challenge both norms and the listeners emotions and ears – musically and lyrically.

In this production, Anna also challenges herself, relinquishing some control and inviting collaborations.

This page will be updated regularly as the project progresses. Stay tuned!
